Ormondo

I set off on my bike this morning for my usual Wednesday routine of visiting the Wesley Centre followed by lunch at Living Rock. On the way into the core, I caught up to Ormondo riding his bike along King Street. It was hard not to notice that Ormondo was on a serious tour. Through his broken English, I discovered that this Italian had recently landed in New York City and was intending on riding across Canada to Vancouver before flying home in August.
Ormondo asked me for directions to Highway 6 North. His navigation was not too detailed - follow hwy 6 north to Tobermory, then onto the ferry to Manitoulin Island. Turn left on Hwy 17 (the Trans Canada Highway) and keep pedalling...
So I did the Good Samaritan thing, and rode with him through the city and up to Clappison's Corners.
